The Puguang Gas Field is the largest and most productive special large-scale marine-integrated gas field in China. It uses the high-sulfur natural gas from Puguang Gas Field as its raw material and is the largest high-sulfur natural gas purification plant in Asia and the second largest in the world.

Greatek undertook the construction of the security integration system, integrates the dispatching communication command system, DCS system (including toxic gas, harmful gas leakage and high-temperature alarm information), fire alarm system, security and communication system, etc. Based on GIS technology, a factory-wide emergency command system and a three-dimensional alarm display system have been constructed.

In 2016, Greatek took on the production monitoring system in the process flow renovation and safety management project.

In 2019, Greatek undertook the safety renovation work of the fire alarm system in the purification plant of Puguang Gas Field.

In 2025, Greatek will take on the safety renovation work of the fire alarm system in the purification plant of Puguang Gas Field.
