Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinochem Group, completed the first-phase construction of a 12-million-ton-per-year refining project. This initiative, a key national project during China's 12th Five-Year Plan period, involved a total investment of approximately 30 billion RMB and primarily produces high-quality gasoline, kerosene, diesel, and other products.

In 2012, Greatek was contracted to implement the plant-wide fire alarm system and fire protection management system. The fire protection management system included dispatch & response, digital recording, wired/wireless fire communication, geographic information, and fire broadcast subsystems. Greatek's self-developed one-touch hard-start system was successfully applied to the tank farm fire protection system (covering 60+ storage tanks), pioneering similar domestic applications. Combined with the large-scale deployment of Siemens industrial firefighting equipment, this provided reliable safety assurance for Quanzhou Petrochemical's stable operations.

In 2018, Greatek was again contracted to implement the fire alarm system for Sinochem Quanzhou's 1-million-ton-per-year ethylene and refinery expansion project.
